Workshop 1

We got the Random Scenarion with two Nurses, one is ongoing and another is taking the shift. The ongoing nurse is handing over the patient information to the nurse taking the shift.
Step 1
We Establishted the location in the classroom where the nurses will be taking the shift handover. We set up the table and chairs for the patients and nurses to sit and discuss the patient information.
Step 2
We devided the roles between the two nurses, one will be the ongoing nurse and another will be taking the shift. We had three patientr and one observer. who took notes on the interaction.
Step 3
We took some time to practice the scenario before the actual role play. We went through the patient information and discussed how to handover the information effectively.
Step 4
We conducted the role play in the classroom, with the nurses taking turns to handover the patient information. The observer took notes on the interaction and provided feedback afterwards. Then we discussed as a group what went well and what could be improved. After the disscusion we replayed the scenario with the improvments we made. Finishing up with a final debrief and reflection on the activity.
